Cards for Heroes BlogHop

*****Please make sure to leave your email in the comments as I have added a RAK !!!!

Welcome to the Cards for Heroes BlogHop.

If you started with my blog......go back to GO, go directly to go, pass jail....oh wait...wrong game. The start is at http://cardsforheroes.org/

Why do I participate? I don't currently have any close family or friends in the military. I have before, and I have seen how hard this is on those serving, and their families. It feels good to do something for these men and women who are willing to risk their lives to keep my family safe.

In addition to sending cards directly to Cards for Heroes, this last Christmas my family "adopted" a platoon of female MPs and sent needed items to them along with cards for them to send to their families. The card I received back from them made it all worth while. The gratitude for even the few small things received from all of us is huge. If you are not currently part of Cards for Heroes....I hope this will encourage you to start. If you are not a cardmaker (which I was not before...) perhaps you heart will feel a tug to send a donation for postage??? Please visit the website and get more information.

I don't have many pictures, right now but here are a few.

Also here are a few my daughters made for Operation Quiet Comfort. These cards are given to our military personnel that are wounded and in the hospital.

Now that you have read my story....please HOP HOP HOP along to
Amy at http://amycatalogna.wordpress.com/

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!!

Kas

Enjoy Scrapbooking or art in Tuscany

Here are a few of the pictures that I took of the "getaway"
www.littletuscangetaway.com

The bedroom sleeps 4 adults or 2 Adults and 3 children. It is in the center of Tuscany on the "Strada del Vino". A wonderful place to enjoy and create art!!
